Comparison of multicriteria analysis techniques for decision making on floating offshore wind farms site selection

This work compares two methodologies to assess different selection approaches, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Multiple Attribute Decision Analysis (MADA) using a combined Evidential Reasoning (ER) AHP approach. evaluation is done depending on: number of alternative criteria, agility through process decision-making, computational complexity, adequacy in supporting group decision, consistency results. Case studies are presented analyze robustness methodology evaluation. The criteria used evaluate identify best locations adapted for each proceed with comparison. results show that approach suitable problems wind farm location selection, particularly toward support decision-making uncertainty modelling. sites ranked based on their respective weights MADA.
